Job summary

NorthBay Health is seeking a Professional Surgical Coder to accurately translate medical procedures into ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. Candidates must have at least five years of surgical coding experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This remote position requires a strong understanding of coding guidelines and medical terminology. NorthBay Health offers a competitive compensation of $42.24 to $51.34 per hour based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in professional fee coding, including surgical coding.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Translating medical procedures and diagnoses into accurate coding.
• Communicating with providers to educate them about coding requirements.
• Working within coding guidelines from various organizations.
