IAT Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Surety Claims Counsel who can report to any IAT office location. The role involves reviewing, investigating, resolving, and negotiating performance bond defaults and related claims.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (Mon-Wed in office, remote Thu-Fri) with potential for fully remote for ideal candidates. Requires a JD with 7+ years in surety/construction law and US work authorization.

Formación

• JD with 7+ years of relevant Surety Claims and/or Construction Law experience.
• Licensed insurance adjuster or ability to obtain license in assigned regions.
• Authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Review, investigate, resolve and negotiate performance bond defaults and claims.
• Draft and negotiate Takeover/Completion Agreements and related documents.
• Collaborate with underwriters and monitor work in progress schedules and costs.
