AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a senior claims leader to independently investigate and manage complex contract and commercial surety claims across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves coordinating with outside counsel, improving processes, and providing legal and transactional support to the underwriting team.

Applicants should have a J.D. with an undergraduate degree in engineering, accounting, business, or finance, and at least 10 years in insurance with a focus on surety.

Qualificações

• Law degree required; undergraduate in engineering, accounting, business, or finance preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in the Insurance industry with a focus on Surety.
• Licensed to handle surety claims within the U.S.; strong leadership and analytical capabilities

Responsabilidades

• Independently investigate and process complex contract and commercial surety claims across jurisdictions.
• Assist in creation or modification of surety claim/underwriting documents.
• Coordinate with outside counsel to negotiate and resolve claims for optimal outcomes.
• Help establish and improve existing processes; provide legal advice and transactional support.
• Pursue salvage and subrogation to mitigate losses and improve results.
