Job summary

Priory in Lighthouse, Gloucestershire, is seeking a Senior Support Worker on a contract basis. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £30,764 per year.

You’ll join a specialist residential and rehabilitation service for individuals with complex mental health needs, with opportunities for training, development, and progression within Priory’s care team. The successful candidate will have at least NVQ level 1 or GCSEs, and will support ward operations, participate in meetings,

• Minimum 2 years as a Healthcare Assistant in a similar environment.
• Educated to a minimum NVQ 1 or GCSEs in Mathematics and English.
• Has completed the Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepared to take on additional responsibilities subject to service need and competence achievement such as Phlebotomy
• Participate in regular ward meetings and attend other meetings as requested.
• To assist in the maintenance of stock levels, including pharmaceutical products, not medicines.
• To assist in the maintenance of ward cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times.
