Job summary

Smartwool and icebreaker are seeking a Senior Supply Planner to drive category-level supply planning and secure on-time vendor deliveries. You will partner with Global Supply Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, Demand Planning, and Finance to meet service and inventory targets while managing capacity risks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a corporate supply chain environment.
• Experience in demand & supply planning.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own category-level supply planning and buy recommendations; route purchase requisitions in SAP.
• Provide monthly supply outlook and Open-to-Buy inputs to Inventory Planning.
• Monitor demand and supply timing using SAP and Excel trackers; re-phase supply as needed.
• Partner with Demand Planning during capacity/material constraints.
• Manage seasonal system setup and line plan validation with Demand Planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to balance service, inventory, and cost.
• Support service and inventory performance reporting with the Inventory Analyst.
• Provide leadership and planning expertise to other planners; drive process improvements.
• Maintain longer-term view of supply availability; assess capacity and risks.
• Participate in/evolve supply chain projects (SAP, Excel reporting).
• Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting to support leadership decisions.
