Job summary

Oracle Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking a Principal Supply Demand Planner for Spares & FRUs to own end-to-end planning for service spares, FRUs, and NPIs across the product lifecycle. The role partners with Service, Engineering, NPI, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, and Product teams to manage risk, optimize inventory, and ensure service readiness.

This senior IC role drives planning improvements, defines launch stocking strategies, and oversees demand forecasting for assigned portfolios

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, NPI, or service-parts planning.
• Experience supporting new product introductions.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply planning.
• Experience with spares, FRUs, repairables, or intermittent-demand inventory preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and planning-system experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence and drive cross-functional decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and planning models for supply, demand, and inventory.
• Track service levels, shortages, forecast performance, and inventory health.
• Perform root-cause analysis on planning and service gaps.
• Compare NPI assumptions to actual field performance.
• Develop supply-demand scenarios for business and financial planning.
• Drive improvements in planning tools, data, and processes.
• Lead supply-demand and launch-readiness reviews.
• Communicate risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to leadership.
