Job summary
McKinsey & Company in Seattle seeks an Associate to join a client service team and own a workstream to solve challenging problems. You’ll collaborate with Fortune 500 clients and startups, applying research, data analysis, interviews, and brainstorming to generate insights and actionable plans.
You’ll help clients refine strategies, implement transformations, and build lasting capabilities. You’ll work directly with clients, uphold our values, and travel as needed.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in supply chain management
- Interest and passion for coaching clients
- Excellent organizational capabilities and initiative
- Proficient in data-driven decision making
- Ability to create client-ready materials (PowerPoint/Excel) and written deliverables
- Strong time management in autonomous environments
- Willingness to travel up to 80%
- Strong English communication and ability to adapt to local languages
Responsibilities
- Lead a workstream to address client challenges and drive measurable impact
- Collaborate with clients and McKinsey teams to uncover root causes and develop actionable plans
- Help implement transformations and build client capabilities for ongoing improvement
