Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking an associate intern to join a client service team for 8–10 weeks, contributing to workstreams to help solve some of the toughest challenges our clients face.

You will work with clients and McKinsey colleagues, combining research, data analysis, interviews, and brainstorming to generate fresh insights and breakthrough solutions. You will develop professional skills through mentorship and apprenticeship, building lasting impact.

Qualifications

• Typically enrolled in advanced graduate degree program (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.).
• Excellent organization capabilities with independent task execution.
• Strong communication in English and local language(s).
• Proficient in data-based decision making.
• Ability to produce work-product materials (PPT, Excel models, reports).
• Exceptional time management and adaptability in autonomous settings.
• Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Join a client service team for 8–10 weeks and contribute to workstreams.
• Uncover true challenges behind a client's strategy using research and data.
