Position Summary:
This is a key role to the successful establishment and long-term stable operation of our new manufacturing facility in the U.S.
The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for supporting end-to-end supply chain operations, including material sourcing, procurement execution, logistics coordination, inventory control, supplier collaboration, and compliance management, to ensure efficient production and delivery processes.
This position reports dually to the Head of Overseas Supply Chain (HQ) and the U.S. Plant Manager. It plays a pivotal role in building and enhancing a localized supply chain system, focusing on material availability, cost optimization, efficient coordination, and
regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in establishing a localized supply chain system and standardized operational processes tailored to the North American market.
• Execute procurement tasks for raw materials, components, and related equipment based on production needs.
• Support the development and evaluation of both local and international suppliers, including quotation, negotiation, and contract management.
• Track order fulfillment and delivery; handle exceptions in logistics, customs clearance, and supplier performance.
2. Inventory & Logistics Support
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of critical materials and reasonable turnover rates.
• Coordinate processes related to material receiving, warehousing, and transportation to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support the end-to-end supply chain operations within the factory to ensure timely material availability and accurate record keeping.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration & Business Support
• Work closely with production, engineering, finance, and other departments to promptly resolve supply-related issues.
• Participate in supply chain data analysis and process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency.
• Prepare regular reports to support business decisions and performance reviews.
4. Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Assist in supplier qualification reviews and ongoing quality monitoring, driving issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all procurement and logistics practices comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain or procurement roles; experience in cross-border or international supply chain operations (especially U.S.-China) is preferred.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, BOMs, and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese; able to collaborate effectively with both local and China-based teams.
