Val-Matic Valve & Mfg. Corp is seeking a Planner III to support production planning and procurement for both purchased and manufactured parts. You will manage short- and long-term planning, cost analysis, and ensure alignment with operational objectives.

This highly visible role owns the full planning cycle for complex parts and aims to streamline processes. Reporting to the Director of Planning and Forecasting, you will coordinate monthly S&OP activities, analyze inventory levels, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related.
• 5+ years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, production planning or scheduling, or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Knowledge in process mapping and documenting.
• Excellent communication at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish production schedules, monitor inventory, and track progress for materials and finished goods.
• Modify schedules to accommodate revisions, cancellations, or priorities.
• Plan and release manufacturing orders based on MRPs.
• Lead weekly plan and schedule reviews with operations and management.
• Support S&OP activities including capacity and demand planning.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, lead times and improve efficiency.
