Job summary

IDEX, via its Airtech unit in the US, is seeking a Senior Buyer Planner for the Valve segment. This role partners with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to build forecasts and ensure production plans and materials align to demand.

Responsibilities include leading MRP, inventory health, and collaboration across engineering, sourcing, and operations. Strong Excel and ERP knowledge are essential for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Materials / Supply Chain, Sourcing, or Finance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year university (preferably with a focus in Supply Chain Management, finance or engineering) or equivalent experience.
• APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society) certification is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets, build formulas and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Build Standard Work for material planning activities for US Valve products.
• Partner with the commercial team to forecast demand and supply constraints.
• Develop short- and long-term supply plans to meet demand and capacity.
• Own the MRP process, monitor purchase orders, and expediting as needed.
• Interface with Engineering, sourcing and operations on new product development and changes.
• Review cycle counts to improve inventory accuracy.
• Aim for 95%+ on-time delivery to customers.
