Job summary

Cantos Ventures is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager for Purchasing & Planning to develop and improve the site demand plan and mentor a team of buyers and planners in a cGMP environment.

The role emphasizes coordinating with Manufacturing, MSAT, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to balance demand with supplier capability, inventory strategy, and site priorities, ensuring supply continuity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in demand planning, purchasing, or supply chain in a cGMP environment.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret demand, inventory, and supplier performance data.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and planning tools; attention to data integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Translate demand forecasts into material requirements plans (MRP) with quantities, timing, safety stock, and lead times.
• Collaborate with Quality and Supply Chain to monitor supplier delivery, qualification, performance, and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain forecasts supporting Process Development, Tech Transfer, Validation, and clinical/manufacturing activities.
• Monitor inventory levels to balance service, cash, and risk; mitigate excess or obsolete material.
• Maintain accurate planning data in ERP and planning systems to support reliable execution.
• Act as liaison between supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, and program teams to communicate demand/supply changes.
• Define, monitor, and report KPIs such as material readiness and on-time delivery.
