Job summary

MRO in Oak Brook, IL, seeks a Senior Planner/Buyer to support planning across contract manufacturing. You will manage finished goods, WIP, and packaging inventory and align purchase orders with demand plans and ERP systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in supply chain planning and procurement, with ERP experience (SAP S/4HANA/IBP preferred) and strong analytical, cross‑functional communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning and procurement.
• Experience managing contract or outsourced manufacturing partners.
• Background in CPG, food, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of MRP, demand planning, and inventory management.
• ERP experience required; SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP preferred.
• APICS CSCP or similar certification a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and cross‑functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Quality, R&D, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to support new product introductions

Key Responsibilities
