Caterpillar Inc. in the United States seeks a Supply Chain professional to lead material planning, procurement, and capacity alignment, collaborating with buyers and production schedulers to ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities include BAAN data management and driving improvements in inventory, lead time and costs.

The role requires strong scheduling, analytical skills and ERP experience, with on-site work five days a week and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain required.
• Strong scheduling and organizational skills with ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of inventory planning and manufacturing operations helpful.
• Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills required.
• Strong MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel and ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of Demand/Supply Chain and Lean Manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Manage purchased material requirements and ensure material availability with proper inventory levels.
• Collaborate with Buyers, Sourcing Specialist, and Production Scheduler on capacity and demand.
• Maintain BAAN data accuracy, dates, lot sizes, and part setup.
• Communicate supplier delivery performance and revise schedules as needed.
• Lead change configuration, coordinate with engineering and supply chain for on-time changes.
• Support cost reductions, inventory and lead-time improvements, and lean initiatives.
