Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to lead advanced planning and production scheduling for food products and packaging materials in Des Plaines, IL. You will coordinate inventory, aging, and shipments while optimizing capacity and service levels.

Responsibilities include materials planning, ERP data integrity, purchasing, and collaboration with customers and vendors to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Strong leadership and communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education, certifications and experience.
• 4+ years of supply chain experience, with direct customer contact.
• Proficient with MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develops and adjusts production schedules in alignment with forecasts, plant capacity and needs.
• Manages materials planning and purchasing to support production continuity.
• Maintains inventory across its lifecycle, including aging/hold management and disposition.
• Supports ERP setup and maintenance (BOMs, routings, part numbers).
• Identifies inventory and PO efficiency improvements to support cost management.
• Coordinates outbound shipments of finished goods and residuals.
