Job summary

Castelion Corporation is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner in Torrance, CA to own end‑to‑end supply planning for designated programs and drive cross‑functional collaboration across sourcing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and program management. You will translate requirements into executable, resilient supply plans with autonomy.

The role requires 4+ years in planning, strong MRP/ERP experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, industrial engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain planning, materials planning, production control, procurement, operations, manufacturing, or related field, with experience independently owning planning work.
• Experience cross‑functionally in fast‑paced development, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, or similarly complex environment.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply planning for assigned programs, commodities, or product areas, converting master schedules and demand signals into achievable material, capacity, and inventory plans.
• Load, maintain, and report on supply plans in the MRP/ERP system; ensure BOMs, planning parameters, work orders, PO's, lead times, and other planning data accuracy.
• Partner with sourcing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, finance, and program teams to develop and execute production and sourcing strategies.
• Identify and manage material, supplier, capacity, quality, schedule, and infrastructure risks; develop recovery plans and drive closure.
• Lead readiness for hardware, providing updates on critical supply issues and actions to leadership.
• Evaluate supply-plan alternatives using cost, lead time, quality, and reliability; recommend robust tradeoffs.
• Forecast spend, supply, inventory, capacity, and infrastructure with business stakeholders and planning teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to resolve rejected or discrepant materials; support root-cause analysis.
• Improve delivery performance with suppliers and internal stakeholders while complying with regulations.
• Create and improve planning processes, metrics, dashboards, and standard work.
• Mentor onboarding of planners and lead projects or workstreams as assigned.
