Job summary

Castelion is hiring a Senior Supply Chain Planner in Torrance, CA. You will own planning execution for assigned programs and collaborate across sourcing, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to translate requirements into executable supply plans.

You will drive risk management, improve planning processes, and lead initiatives with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with government requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, industrial engineering, business, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain planning or related field with independent ownership of planning work.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply planning for assigned programs, commodities, or product areas, converting master schedules into actionable plans.
• Load, maintain, and report on supply plans in the MRP/ERP system; ensure BOMs, lead times, and data integrity.
• Partner with sourcing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, finance, and program teams to develop production and sourcing strategies.
• Identify and manage material, supplier, capacity, quality, schedule, and infrastructure risks with recovery actions.
• Lead readiness for hardware and provide timely updates on critical supply issues to leadership.
• Evaluate planning alternatives using cost, lead time, and reliability considerations; propose tradeoffs.
• Forecast spend, supply, inventory, and capacity in partnership with stakeholders and planning teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to resolve rejected materials and support root-cause actions.
• Improve delivery performance and collaboration with suppliers while complying with regulations.
• Create and improve planning processes, dashboards, and standard work; mentor junior planners.
