Senior Supply Chain Manager, Sales & Operations Planning

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager within Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), you will have the opportunity to own supply chain planning at the highest level for Amazon’s fulfillment business. You will have a holistic view of supply and demand within the Amazon fulfillment network and be an integral part of creating and implementing large-scale strategic initiatives in inventory optimization, transportation cost, labor capacity management, and more – all aimed at better serving our customers. Since perfect solutions are rare, your role will involve making data-driven decisions and managing stakeholder relationships while planning and executing in an ever-changing environment.

The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will work in a fast-paced, fluid environment, effectively communicating business conditions and decisions with stakeholders across multiple groups and levels, from warehouse associates to Amazon Directors and VPs. This role involves identifying problems, diving deep into data, earning trust, and delivering results with large-scale influence. It combines short-term execution with long-term strategic planning, requiring quick decision-making with incomplete data, while also shaping the future direction of the network. The ultimate goal is to fulfill more products to customers in a safer, faster, more efficient, and cost-effective manner.
