Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in the United States is seeking a Senior Associate, Supply Chain – Distribution & Logistics to help lead large, complex client engagements. You will work with Private Equity leadership to identify, design, and implement creative solutions across manufacturing, distribution, and inventory planning to improve operating results.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of consulting or industry operating experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree optional.
• Hands‑on experience in distribution and logistics network optimization or related areas.
• Excellent fact‑gathering and quantitative analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large, complex client engagements with PE leadership.
• Identify, design, and implement supply chain improvement opportunities.
• Analyze network design and footprints, including DCs and inventory flows.
• Assist in 3PL sourcing events and negotiations.
• Assess inventory planning processes and optimization opportunities.
• Develop transformation plans with estimated benefits timelines.
