Job summary

Embark, a leading consultancy, seeks an experienced supply chain and operations leader to drive assessments, redesigns, and implementations for private equity, institutional investors, and corporate clients. You will own operating-model designs across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory, guiding teams and stakeholders to actionable roadmaps.

You’ll run day-to-day engagements, manage client stakeholders, and ensure high-quality work before delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in management consulting, transaction advisory, or a comparable supply chain operating role.
• Strong operating-model and network design experience across supply chain domains.
• Hands-on assessment work across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory.
• Present findings clearly to senior client and deal-team stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain assessments for acquisition targets, platforms, and standalone operating companies.
• Validate operational viability, surface risks and liabilities, and quantify cost takeout and synergy opportunities.
• Assess current state across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory; map processes end-to-end.
• Design future-state operating models including network footprint, sourcing, inventory policy, and headcount.
• Drive ERP, WMS, TMS, and related tech transformations impacting supply chain.
• Lead Day-1 readiness, transformation roadmap, and governance; support execution.
• Manage day-to-day engagements, timelines, and client relationships.
