Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Embark, a leading consultancy, seeks an experienced supply chain and operations leader to drive assessments, redesigns, and implementations for private equity, institutional investors, and corporate clients. You will own operating-model designs across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory, guiding teams and stakeholders to actionable roadmaps.
You’ll run day-to-day engagements, manage client stakeholders, and ensure high-quality work before delivery.
Embarkers enjoy:
Embark isn’t your ordinary consulting firm. We’re committed to cultivating a workplace where everyone can thrive—where happiness is at the core of our success. Where Happy Works. Our team is dedicated to solving complex problems for finance, accounting, HR, and technology leaders with forward-thinking solutions and unparalleled hospitality. Here are a few reasons why 93% of Embarkers agree that we offer special and unique benefits:
You will lead supply chain and operations engagements across assessment, redesign, and implementation. You own the operating-model view of a client’s supply chain, size the people, process, and technology gaps across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory, and turn your findings into a defensible story and a prioritized roadmap.
This is a client-facing leadership role. You run engagements day to day, manage client stakeholders, and own the quality of the work before it reaches the engagement lead. You bring operations depth to every assessment: network design, cost-to-serve, working capital, and tech enabled process optimization.
We work for private equity sponsors, institutional investors, corporate acquirers, and their portfolio companies, as well as corporate operating companies directly. Engagements span M&A-related supply chain diligence and integration, and standalone operational transformation outside a deal context.
Embark is a lean team, and our work doesn’t always fit inside a single functional lane. This role is not limited to supply chain engagements. You should expect to support and, where your skills fit, lead projects outside core SCM, including finance, technology, integration, and general operations transformation work. We look for people who are curious and adaptable, who learn a new domain quickly, and who are comfortable being the generalist problem solver when a client needs one. Supply chain is your anchor, but the role is defined by how you deliver, not by a single practice area
You will join a lean, senior team. A typical engagement pairs you with a director for oversight, associates for execution, and functional specialists in finance, HR, and technology where the work needs them. You lead the day-to-day and own the deliverables.
Typical compensation range for this role is $175,000-$190,000 based on experience.
