Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Receiving - Production Supervisor to lead inbound material flow, ensure inventory accuracy, and supervise a small team in a manufacturing setting. The role requires oversight of receiving, put-away, and dock operations, with a strong focus on JDE transaction integrity and safety standards.

You will coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Quality, and Facilities to maintain efficient material flow, enforce 5S, and drive continuous improvement in inventory processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of warehouse, receiving, inventory control, or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Experience handling raw materials, long-length materials, or industrial manufacturing products preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards (JDE).
• Experience managing inventory accuracy and cycle count programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily receipt and processing of all inbound materials entering the facility.
• Ensure timely unloading, inspection, verification, and put-away of inbound materials.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and system requirements; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain ownership of inventory accuracy throughout the plant; ensure all movements are transacted in JDE.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of four direct reports; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
