Job summary

Novo Nordisk in North Carolina seeks a strategic Supply Chain & Process Improvement leader to optimize the NNPILP Supply Chain through data analysis, problem solving and execution of changes across Planning, Warehousing, Procurement and Shipping. You will serve as a technical expert for site projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role reports to the Manager, Supply Chain and requires a track record in Lean/Six Sigma, SAP, and warehouse automation. Travel up to 10% expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain required.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing, supply chain or logistics experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience with sustainable process improvements required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in SAP or equivalent required.
• Experience with robotics and automation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis, problem solving and execution of changes in Planning, Warehousing, Procurement & Shipping
• Execute transformation program strategies and projects in collaboration with Supply Chain management
• Define key activities or improvement projects and propose deadlines
• Secure decision making to meet deadlines and governance
• Propose risk mitigation actions and communicate at different levels
• Monitor necessary resources for execution
• Lead continuous improvement projects and ensure SPS closure
• Provide engineering design support for Supply Chain facility/equipment changes
• Serve as technical expert in Warehouse automation
• Oversee training needs and ensure standards are met
• Investigate and resolve quality problems in department
• Other accountabilities as assigned
