Novo Nordisk A/S in Durham, NC seeks a Supply Chain Planner to coordinate logistic flows and optimize production planning within the facility. You will work closely with planning functions, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient schedules and material availability.

Required 1 year in supply chain or related field, a bachelor’s in SCM, and familiarity with SAP APO/ECC and LEAN practices. The role offers growth in a leading global pharma company and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 1 year of experience in supply chain management, production planning, material planning, supplier management or related field preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and electronic material management systems preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP (APO & ECC) preferred.
• Proven process improvement and problem-solving skills; LEAN manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement LEAN & flow in the plant, proactively, show a LEAN mindset.
• Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
• Other accountabilities, as assigned.

The Position

Coordinate the logistic flows & ensure that the planning activities are optimal within the production area.

Reports to Manager.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field from an accredited university is required
• One (1) year of experience in Supply Chain Management, production planning, material planning, supplier management or related field preferred
• Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel & electronic material management systems preferred
• Familiarity with SAP (APO & ECC) preferred
• Proven process improvement & problem-solving skills preferred
• Experience in LEAN manufacturing a plus
