Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Operations Analyst to lead supplier management, governance, and analytics for aerospace components. You will manage the ASL, perform due diligence, track risks, and drive improvements in supplier performance and compliance across cross-functional teams.

You will analyze supplier data, develop dashboards in Power BI, and partner with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Engineering, and Compliance to ensure supply continuity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. 5–8 years of related experience in supplier management, or Master's degree with 3–6 years.
• Strong knowledge of supplier management, supplier qualification, supply chain operations, procurement, and supplier performance practices.
• In-depth understanding of ASL governance, supplier onboarding, due diligence, qualification requirements, and supplier lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in evaluating supplier capabilities, certifications, manufacturing capacity, operational readiness, compliance requirements, and supply chain risks.
• Understanding of supplier performance management, scorecards, OTD, quality metrics, corrective actions, and supply continuity requirements.
• Experience applying supplier governance processes, analyzing operational data, developing dashboards, and supporting improvements to supplier management workflows.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR/EAR, DFARS, ERP systems, Power BI, SQL, and supplier compliance practices in aerospace/defense.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams.
• ERP and supplier management apps like Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalents.
• Data analysis, SQL querying, and reporting tools including SQL and advanced Excel.
• Supplier qualification, ASL, supplier performance management, and compliance tracking apps.
• BI, data visualization, and reporting apps like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the enterprise Approved Supplier List (ASL) including qualifications, certifications, and records.
• Develop standardized supplier onboarding, qualification, approval, and requalification processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to evaluate supplier capabilities and support approval decisions.
• Conduct supplier assessments, site visits, and due diligence to evaluate manufacturing capabilities and capacity.
• Review certifications and regulatory requirements to identify compliance gaps and risks.
• Track supplier risks, findings, corrective actions, and resolutions with stakeholders.
• Support Grow/Sustain/Exit supplier management framework based on capabilities, performance and risk.
• Analyze supplier performance including quality, on-time delivery, responsiveness, capacity, and continuity.
• Prepare supplier scorecards and dashboards and coordinate improvement plans and transitions.
• Analyze supplier, procurement, inventory and operations data to identify gaps and risks.
• Design governance workflows, dashboards, data validation, and performance measures for visibility.
• Partner with ERP and cross-functional stakeholders to implement data-management and reporting improvements.
