Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Operations Analyst to manage supplier qualification, ASL governance, due diligence, and compliance across aerospace and defense environments. You will drive performance, risk assessment, and data-driven improvements with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes supplier governance, data analysis, and scalable processes to strengthen supplier reliability and operational readiness. A strong background in ERP and BI tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or related field with 5–8 years of related experience.
• Master's degree with 3–6 years of related experience is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of supplier management, procurement, and supply chain operations.
• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR/EAR, DFARS and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the enterprise Approved Supplier List (ASL) including qualifications and records.
• Develop onboarding, qualification, approval and requalification processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to evaluate supplier capabilities and maintain qualification requirements.
• Conduct supplier assessments, site visits and due diligence for capacity and readiness.
• Review supplier certifications and regulatory requirements for gaps and risks.
• Track risks, findings, corrective actions and resolutions with stakeholders.
• Support Grow, Sustain, and Exit supplier management framework.
• Analyze supplier performance (quality, OTD, responsiveness) to identify improvements.
• Prepare supplier scorecards and dashboards; coordinate improvement plans and transitions.
