GE Aerospace Senior Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for driving quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation for structural casting suppliers. You will select suppliers through qualification processes, own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards, own supplier audits, ensure compliance, and drive improvement plans where needed.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Systems, Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality or Supply Chain Manufacturing.
• Strong background in supplier quality and supplier management.
• Experience with airfoils or structural castings is preferred.
• Experience managing quality or manufacturing teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.
• Drive root cause and corrective action plans across suppliers.
• Identify process improvements to improve first time yield and delivery.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineers on design for manufacturability and producibility.
• Identify gaps in the quality system and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives for cost reduction projects.
• Present product/program strategies, roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Utilize data analysis to support recommendations.
