Job summary

Trane Technologies in Pueblo, Colorado seeks a senior quality leader to guide Sourced Products quality initiatives across design, manufacturing, and post‑sales processes. You will coach partners, drive APQP, DFMEA, PPAP, and introduce standard work to improve FPY and warranty outcomes.

The role emphasizes data analysis of warranty claims and field quality alerts, mentoring suppliers, and collaborating with account managers and field service teams to resolve issues and sustain high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
• 8–12 years of quality/quality engineering experience in design, engineering or manufacturing
• Strong leadership and knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Provide quality leadership for Sourced Products portfolio, design to post‑sales.
• Coach partners on quality initiatives from product inception through post‑sales.
• Drive standard work deployment to improve FPY and reduce defects.
• Perform monthly warranty claim and field quality alert analysis.
• Support account managers and field service with issue resolution.
• Lead supplier process reviews and audits to ensure performance.
• Drive Advanced Product Quality Planning during new product development.
• Facilitate supplier recovery efforts between partners and CHVAC teams.
