Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to develop and manage supplier quality performance across purchased components, materials, and subcontracted processes. You will interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Operations to drive supplier qualification, NPI, and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes process validation, CAPA, and preventive actions, aiming to shift quality toward prevention while meeting regulatory and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Quality Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D/RCCA, CAPA, and process audits.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own quality performance for assigned suppliers and commodities with defined KPIs.
• Lead supplier qualification, audits, and NPI support.
• Drive corrective actions, CAPA, and preventive actions to reduce defects.
• Plan and execute supplier quality audits and support internal/external audits.
