Job summary
DSJ Global is seeking a Staff Supplier Quality Engineer to support new product introductions, supplier development, and manufacturing quality for advanced electronic and electromechanical products. The role partners with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and supplier teams to drive quality excellence and reliable product performance.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, CAPA, FAI, and 8D methodologies, with a proven track record in NPI
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality functions.
- Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication, PCBA, SMT processes, and electronic assembly.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier quality initiatives for PCB, PCBA, and electronic component manufacturers.
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and manufacturing process evaluations.
- Drive qualification activities including FAI, PVT, process validation, and readiness reviews.
- Develop and implement quality planning tools including Control Plans, PFMEAs, and inspection strategies.
- Manage SCARs, root cause investigations, and 8D problem-solving activities.
- Partner with Design, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering teams across NPI and production.
