Job summary

Shure Incorporated is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer based in Niles, IL, hybrid work arrangement. You will lead supplier quality efforts for ODM/JDM/CEM partners, drive root-cause analysis, and collaborate with product development to ensure quality from concept to launch.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in quality engineering, experience with contract manufacturers, and ASQ CQE/CSQP is a plus. Travel ~15% and strong data skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Quality Engineering or similar engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years in quality engineering, preferably with JDM and/or ODM partners.
• Experience with contract manufacturers (JDM/ODM/CEM) collaboration models and managing remote supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Qualify suppliers and components per Shure standards.
• Develop PPAP/inspection instructions and root-cause analysis for non-conforming material via SCAR.
• Represent supplier quality in product development and supplier evaluation.
• Participate in design reviews as voice of the supplier; support DFM with suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance; assist in resolving issues with purchased components.
