Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer to apply quality principles across design, production control, and supplier quality programs. You will work with program management, engineering, manufacturing, and customers to ensure compliance with standards and drive corrective actions.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, up to 25% travel, and flexibility for after-hours work.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 2+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Identify and document quality deficiencies; ensure effective corrective action.
• Root cause analysis and solving complex problems.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 and First Article Inspections AS9102.
• Control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB).
• Understanding of engineering drawings and inspection methods (mechanical/electrical).
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Willing to travel 25% and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Apply quality principles across design, incoming material, production control, and supplier quality areas.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality issues.
• Engage in product failure investigations and CAPA decisions.
• Develop strategies to improve supplier performance and productivity.
• Evaluate quality systems for deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Design and analyze inspection and testing processes and perform product quality tests.
• Engage in supplier selection and maintain certifications.
