Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer - Intelligence Systems to join the Quality Engineering Team in advancing supplier quality for critical defense components.

You will collaborate across design, production, and field operations to ensure first-time quality, drive early supplier involvement, and develop robust processes for castings and sub-assemblies with ITAR compliance. Travel up to 50% and TS/SCI eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy or similar technical field.
• Experience producing castings and mechanical assemblies for maritime, aerospace, or space applications.
• Experience scaling supplier capabilities from prototype to high-rate production.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality management systems and audits.
• Experience with FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements and MSA.
• Experience with government regulations such as ITAR and SOW/quality clauses.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design teams to support manufacturability feedback and provide data for castings and assemblies.
• Lead supplier quality development through design reviews, testing, and qualification.
• Drive supplier readiness and qualification activities (PPAP, RCCA, MRB).
• Audit supplier Quality Management Systems and ensure flow-down requirements are met.
• Lead supplier site audits and reviews for contract deliverables in quality management.
