Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Inspector to learn, execute, and optimize inspection processes ensuring the excellence of supplier components. You will own the inspection workflow, review documentation, and contribute to supplier quality improvements.

Travel up to 75% to supplier sites will be required; you will use CMMs, Romer Arms, and precision gauges to verify part and flight hardware tolerances. A U.S. security clearance is likely needed for access to data.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency.
3+ years of precision mechanical inspection experience.
3+ years of CMM programming, CMM operations, or Faro Arm experience.
Ability to travel up to 75% to supplier sites.
U.S. Person Status is required as this position needs to access controlled data.

Responsibilities

Perform supplier site inspections up to 75% travel to inspect parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
Use precision metrology tools to verify complex tolerances.
Conduct incoming inspections of purchased parts and materials.
Review material certifications and conformance to designs and PO requirements.
Inspect flight hardware at supplier sites per engineering drawings and standards.
Document and report non-conformances at source; support CAPA initiatives.
Assist in developing supplier inspection plans and drive process improvements.
Program and set up Articulating Arms (e.g., Romer) and CMMs to achieve inspection results.
Provide guidance on inspection requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
