The role emphasizes root cause analysis, corrective actions, PFMEA, AS9102-driven First Article inspections, and driving improvements that reduce scrap and improve OTD with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Expert at driving Root Cause Corrective Action.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of problem-solving tools: 5-Whys, FMEA, 8-D, Pareto, fault tree analysis, and Ishikawa diagrams.
• Proven business/technical writing, presentation, planning, problem solving, organizational, project management and judgement skills.
• Excellent Project Management skills that drive transparency, accountability, and results.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience driving Supply Chain Improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Circor’s supplier quality management program.
• Perform audits and assessments of Supplier processes and QMS systems.
• Drive Supplier Improvement Projects to establish root cause and definitive corrective action plans to improve On Time Delivery (OTD) and reduce Scrap, Rework and Repair costs.
• Provide leadership on problem solving teams to drive root cause analysis to reduce supplier non-conformities.
• Support in house manufacturing and customer complaint issues related to supplier parts.
• Support resolution of issues at the supplier impacting product quality.
• Review Purchase Orders and flow-down requirements to suppliers.
• Participate in supplier qualification, approval and selection process.
• Day to day activities include supplier auditing, SCAR management, Supplier NCRs, investigations, Supplier quality improvement plans, Supplier metrics, ASL management.
• Develop receiving inspection requirements as needed.
• Develops product quality plans and inspection methodologies.
• Perform source inspection as required.
• Develops, monitors, and analyzes product/process trend data to optimize supplier performance and minimize production costs.
• Review and approve First Article Inspection reports per AS9102.
