Barrios Technology seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality assurance, procurement quality oversight, and supplier performance management in a dynamic aerospace setting. The role ensures suppliers meet contractual and regulatory requirements while supporting a reliable, compliant supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline with 5 years in supplier quality roles.
• Thorough knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management System requirements.
• Experience conducting supplier audits, assessments, source inspections, and verification activities.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, contracts, purchase orders, and technical requirements.
• Experience managing supplier quality issues, nonconformances, corrective actions, and risk mitigation.
• Strong RCCA, containment, preventive action, and continuous improvement skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain supplier quality processes in accordance with AS9100, contracts, and customer requirements.
• Manage supplier qualification, approval, and ongoing performance monitoring (ASL).
• Define, review, and approve quality flow-down requirements for purchased products and services.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and surveillance for compliance with quality, technical, and contractual requirements.
• Perform source inspections and verification activities for purchased products, materials, and services.
• Review supplier documentation, certifications, inspection records, and quality data for compliance.
• Establish and monitor supplier quality KPIs and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality systems and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Investigate supplier-related quality issues and coordinate containment and RCCA.
• Manage SCARs and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Analyze nonconformance trends and supplier performance data to identify risks.
• Develop and present supplier quality reports and dashboards to leadership.
• Create and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Partner with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, program management, and quality teams.
