Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Supplier Quality Data Analyst to join the Operations Quality Team in Andover, MA. This role will transform supplier‑related data into actionable insights and support continuous improvement across incoming material quality and supplier performance.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with five years of related experience, strong data analytics skills, experience with root cause analysis, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM or related technical field and five years of related experience.
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes.
• Experience in data analytics, identifying trends and creating action plans.
• Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, and analyze supplier quality data from multiple systems, and perform trend analysis to identify systemic supplier issues and support root‑cause investigation.
• Partner with Operations and Supplier Quality Engineers to support risk assessments by providing data‑driven insights into supplier capability, stability, and historical performance.
• Propose data improvements through enhanced data governance, standardized metrics, and process automation.
• Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier caused issues impacting the factory, working with other quality functions and cross‑functional teams.
• Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring accuracy of nonconformances, robust root‑cause analysis, and corrective solutions are fully implemented.
• Communicate supplied part issues impacting the factory to suppliers and stakeholders.
• Assist with quarantine, containment and screening of suspect defective supplied hardware.
