Job summary

Honda is seeking a Process Engineer to oversee internal logistics at a North American plant. You will design material flow, collaborate with production and 3PL partners, and drive improvements to cost and efficiency on the production line.

Responsibilities include process development, SAP management, mentoring junior staff, and leading related projects up to $250k. Strong communication and office software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or relevant work experience.
• 2 years of experience in an engineering role.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, documentation, and implementation of processes with production and 3PL partners utilizing engineering tools to meet targets.
• Area responsibilities include manpower planning, process and vanning layout design, and packaging evaluations.
• Identify and implement process improvements supporting cost reduction objectives.
• Lead Model SA’s of SCO projects with up to $250,000 in scope.
• Create and manage SAPs for projects with limited complexity.
• Coordinate with production and 3PLs on complex issues and implement countermeasures.
• Mentor EX1 and EX2 process associates, provide feedback on output and quality.
