Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to advance supplier crisis mitigation and corrective actions across NA regions. You will collaborate with Honda leadership, coordinate with HDMA, and drive rapid countermeasures to maintain production continuity.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering, expertise in manufacturing processes, and knowledge of Honda delivery systems (GPCS). Travel to supplier sites (up to 33%) is expected as part of on-site crisis management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent related experience.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Manufacturing process knowledge across stamping, welding, assembly, material flow, electronics, injection molding, paint, casting, machining.
• Honda delivery systems knowledge (GPCS).

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct situation appraisal and analysis of a supplier crisis on a specific part or assembly process.
• Oversee implementation of immediate corrective actions at critical suppliers.
• Escalate communication and reviews with supplier and HDMA Management.
• Lead capacity management and other critical projects; support root cause analyses and countermeasures.
