Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co is seeking a Senior Supplier Performance Engineer - I&C to support fabrication at supplier facilities. The role reports to the Manager, I&C Supplier Performance and is 100% remote with occasional travel.

You will lead supplier oversight, develop oversight plans, and drive risk mitigation. Core duties include evaluating supplier capabilities, leading development projects, and ensuring compliance with IPC/IEEE/ASME standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Automation Engineering or similar.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Engineering/Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of machining, welding, forming, and molding and instrumentation & control systems.
• Familiarity with IPC/IEEE/ASME standards.
• AWS or NDT certifications preferred.
• Willingness to travel 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and remote supplier oversight to meet Westinghouse requirements.
• Develop and implement supplier oversight plans for critical document submittals and manufacturing.
• Identify and elevate supplier risks and coordinate actions with all partners.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics such as on-time delivery and quality issues.
• Lead corrective actions, root cause analysis, and supplier development projects.
• Perform technical evaluations of supplier capabilities and processes.
• Identify gaps between supplier capabilities and Westinghouse requirements and develop development plans.
• Lead supplier development and qualification activities and cost reduction efforts.
