Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Supplier Performance Engineer - I&C to support fabrication of electro-mechanical components at supplier facilities. This role reports to the Manager, I&C Supplier Performance and can be performed remotely.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote supplier oversight, developing oversight plans, monitoring performance metrics, conducting technical evaluations, and leading supplier development and cost-reduction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Automation Engineering or similar.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of machining, welding, forming, and molding; includes assembly, testing and inspection.
• Experience with problem solving and process standardization projects.
• Project management experience, leading multiple projects.
• Familiarity with IPC/IEEE/ASME standards.
• Welding (AWS) or NDT certifications preferred.
• Experience with nuclear products and standards preferred.
• 30% travel domestically and internationally is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and remote supplier oversight to meet Westinghouse requirements.
• Develop and implement Supplier Oversight Plans for submittals and manufacturing.
• Identify supplier risks and coordinate issue resolution with partners.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Evaluate procurement risk and develop supply risk mitigation plans.
• Provide progress reports to PM, Program Director, and SPE Leadership.
• Conduct technical evaluations of suppliers for capability and controls.
• Identify gaps to establish development plans.
• Lead supplier development, qualification, and cost-reduction projects.
