Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co. is seeking a Principal Supplier Performance Engineer to lead supplier development, assess new suppliers for capability, and drive quality improvements across nuclear and industrial projects.

You will manage complex supplier relations remotely and push for robust process controls and de-risking strategies. The role focuses on safety culture, process capability, and collaboration with design engineering to ensure manufacturing excellence and compliance with applicable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering required.
• 5+ years of progressive engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Experience with machining, welding, and assembly; I&C knowledge.
• Experience performing CPk analyses and qualification.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing/Quality Plans and PFMEAs.
• Ability to read drawings and ASME standards.
• Experience leading multiple projects and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development and qualification for new products and cost reduction.
• De-risk suppliers through technical assessments and development.
• Oversee supplier performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead quality events and drive timely corrective actions.
• Ensure drawing/document requirements are clear and communicated to suppliers.
• Support DFM/Value Engineering during design processes.
• Coordinate risk mitigation and procurement security plans.
