Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer to accelerate qualification and implementation of designs with suppliers, optimizing for quality, efficiency, and cost from early development through the lifecycle.

You will coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing to achieve ambitious production goals and maintain supplier readiness for high-mix, low-volume aerospace/defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (supply chain/engineering).
• 5+ years in supplier quality and industrialization within manufacturing.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of time.
• Relocation to Huntsville, AL if not local.
• Eligibility for U.S. clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage mechanical commodities and subcategories for supplier production from NPI to full production.
• Drive commodity strategy and provide ownership, proactivity, and technical excellence.
• Vet supplier capabilities, facilities, and workforce for inclusion in approved lists.
• Support SQE to ensure supplier understanding of part quality criteria.
• Develop manufacturing processes at supplier sites to meet performance and quality.
• Own capacity expansion and ramp-up roadmap at suppliers.
• Drive SPC-based performance checks at supplier sites.
• Identify product/process improvements and optimize factory layouts to reduce costs.
• Close root-cause corrective actions with SQE and suppliers.
