Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mechanical/manufacturing/industrial engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives and develop supplier performance plans.
• Serve as the technical interface for machining and contract manufacturers, driving accountability.
• Lead problem-solving using 8D, DMAIC, RCCA methods to resolve issues.
• Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and process evaluations to identify risks and opportunities.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, PFMEAs, control plans, FMEAs, and quality systems for compliance.
• Lead cross-functional projects with Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing and Quality.
• Support new product introductions by assessing readiness and risk mitigation.
• Analyze supplier performance metrics and prepare executive summaries and dashboards.
• Develop and implement plans for supplier improvements, capacity expansions, and risk reduction.
• Mentor junior engineers on supplier quality and manufacturing initiatives.
