Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of manufacturing quality or quality engineering experience.
• 5+ years of leadership or people-management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, dimensional inspection, CMM, and precision measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing quality activities to meet drawings, specs, and customer requirements.
• Drive improvements in product quality, first-pass yield, scrap, rework, defects, and customer escapes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering to identify and resolve process, material, machining, coating, and product quality issues.
• Establish and monitor key quality metrics and drive actions when performance does not meet targets.
• Operate incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities to support manufacturing and shipment priorities.
• Oversee dimensional inspection and metrology activities, including CMM and precision measurement equipment.
• Lead investigation of complex and recurring quality issues using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, and other tools.
• Lead customer corrective actions and ensure timely investigation and response.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, QMS, CAPA, audits.
