Job summary

Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD seeks a Manager of Supplier Diversity and Reporting to lead the Supplier Diversity and Reporting Unit within the Office of Procurement and Property Control. This role oversees procurement reporting for OSBA, BPW, and internal dashboards, and updates procurement policies to expand opportunities for minority, small, and veteran‑owned businesses.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
At least five years of progressive, professional experience in public or institutional procurement, contract compliance, or supplier diversity/small business program administration.
At least one year of supervisory or lead experience.

Responsibilities

Supervises the Supplier Diversity and Reporting Unit and staff; assigns work against deadlines; develops SOPs and desk manuals to ensure timely deliverables.
Owns all procurement reporting for the University, including formal submissions to OSBA and BPW; maintains data definitions and reporting calendars.
Serves as Socioeconomic Liaison; drives use of state-designated preference procurements and maintains relationships with certified firms and prime contractors.
