The position emphasizes vetting, development and training across suppliers, with extensive travel (50–60%). A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in semiconductor procurement are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Semiconductor commodity experience required, minimum 5 years.
• 10+ years of supply management in automotive production preferred.
• Proven record in manufacturing, supplier quality and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and drive global supplier quality strategies for semiconductors.
• Lead supplier vetting, capability assessment and supplier development strategy.
• Collaborate with Global Commodity Management, Engineering and Plant Operations to improve performance.
• Identify quality improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement at suppliers.
• Lead supplier process audits, corrective actions and training for BW SDE-Semiconductors.
• Mentor regional Supplier Development / Quality Engineers.
