Job summary

BorgWarner seeks a seasoned Supplier Quality professional to partner with our global supply base. The role focuses on leading corrective actions, driving supplier improvements, and ensuring PPAP readiness in support of automotive programs.

Ideal candidates will have IATF16949 experience, strong statistical skills, and a proven ability to collaborate across functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive quality support or related field preferred.
• Trained Auditor in IATF16949 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supplier Corrective Action Review (SCAR) and 8D to resolve production quality issues.
• Drive Continuous Improvement with suppliers using Lean, Six Sigma, VIPs, Kaizen and cost-out initiatives.
• Manage APQP/PPAP submissions and ensure on-time PPAP documentation and launches.
