Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Supervisor, Security – Lead Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO) to support SAP programs within Global Security Services. You will lead security operations, oversee a small team, and ensure cross‑functional alignment with program management and customer requirements.

You will administer procedures, develop SOPs, and manage facility accreditation while coordinating with ISSO/ISSM and subcontractors to safeguard classified material

Qualifications

• Minimum university degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience (3 years for an advanced degree).
• Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoDM 5205.07, DoDM 5200.1 series, or ICD705 and managing/supervising teams.
• Understanding of DoDM 5205.07, 32CFR117, and national-security operations.
• Preferred: training with DCSA, CDSE, and SFPC certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Administer security procedures per NISPOM and ICD 705.
• Supervise security professionals, schedule, coach, and evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with program management and report security status.
• Develop SOPs, OPSEC plans, transport/test plans; obtain approvals.

Location: 1151 E Hermans Rd, Tucson, AZ (Building 842). Role Type: Onsite.

Security Clearance: U.S. government issued Top Secret, active and transferable required on day 1. U.S. citizenship required.

Position: Senior Supervisor, Security – Lead Contractor Special Access Program Security Officer (CSSO) in Global Security Services, supporting Special Access Programs (SAP).

Responsibilities

• Administer security procedures in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoDM 5205.07, ICD 705, JSIG, and Raytheon security policies.
• Supervise and manage a small team of security professionals, including scheduling, coaching, training, evaluating performance, and setting schedules and priorities.
• Collaborate with program management, report security status, and provide guidance to senior leaders.
• Develop, prepare, and implement SOPs, OPSEC plans, transportation and test plans, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Conduct internal reviews and government compliance inspections, and maintain accreditation of secure facilities.
• Implement media control, material accountability, and provide security oversight of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Process Personnel Security (PERSEC) records and upload into government databases.
• Create and present security education, awareness, and training (SETA) materials and briefings.
• Support testing, shipment, and storage of classified materials; oversee visitor management and escort procedures.
• Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and assess risk to the program.
• Assist cross‑functional leaders such as ISSO and ISSM to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
