Ohio Logistics is seeking a results-driven Senior Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and distribution operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, employee accountability, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and exceptional customer service.
The Senior Warehouse Supervisor is expected to lead by example, maintain high performance standards, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the operation. Working closely with the General Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing warehouse associates, managing workflow, enforcing company policies, and ensuring all customer and operational requirements are met safely, efficiently, and accurately.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution center experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational setting.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory management, and inventory control processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing employee performance, productivity, and attendance.
- Ability to effectively prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business demands.
- Previous forklift operating experience is required.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to lead by example while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations to ensure productivity, accuracy, and service goals are achieved.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing compliance with OSHA, DOT, ADA, and all company safety policies and procedures.
- Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates while holding team members accountable for performance expectations.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage inventory control activities, including cycle counts, audits, stock investigations, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings, communicate operational objectives, and address performance concerns promptly.
- Partner with Customer Service, Operations, and Leadership teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, quality standards, and operational results.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost control.
- Support strategic initiatives and facility objectives as assigned by site leadership.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required to support daily operations.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and exposure to moderate to high noise levels.
- Ability to work around heavy equipment, moving machinery, and both indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Must be able to work the required schedule and support operational needs as necessary.
